Chinese beauty Wu Muxi, a student of the dramatic arts from Beijing,  breaks tradition with this sensual set, photographed by Shawn Liu for Playboy. Wu, who loves acting and film, art and travel, was, in her own words “totally immersed in this shoot”.

“The light, the beautiful scenes—I was deeply attracted by all of this, and as an actress, I enjoyed creating something personal and unique.”

Stripping her traditional Chinese dress, Wu Muxi appears like a flower in full bloom, intoxicating the world around her.

“I would liken a woman to a rose, the blooming time is short, but it’s stunning.”
