Biel / Bienne dreaming
Miru Kim (* 1981) New York, became popular with her first photographic series “Naked City Spleen,” staged in the ruins of tunnels, factories and port facilities. In her second series “The Pig That Therefore I Am” she visited farms and mixed naked with the animals. Her latest project “The Camel’s Way” is based on her journey to the deserts around the world, where she lived and traveled with the nomads and their camels . At the Body and Freedom Festival Miru shows a performance with the title “Bil / Bienne dreaming”. Over the two days of the Festival, she will sleep for 6 hours at the crossroads of Rue de Nidau and Rue Neuve.
