Site Specific Butoh
Artist and poet, Flavia Ghisalberti (* 1963) creates performances based on the Japanese Butoh dance. She is co-founder of the band “In Between” and director of the Butoh-Off Festival Basel. She works closely with Valentin Tszin (* 1984), a dancer with Sino-Russian roots. Valentin Tszin practice Taekwondo, he was an actor and founded the Poema Theatre in Moscow. At the Body and Freedom Festival, Flavia and Valentin show site specific butoh performances.
